Position: Logistics Coordinator
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating various aspects of our logistics operations. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, stores, and independent contractors, ensuring accurate and timely processing of shipments, and overseeing in-home deliveries to meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining monthly operating reports, supervising Customer Service Representatives and Routers, and addressing any operational challenges that may arise. The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills along with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and nurture relationships with vendors, stores, and independent contractors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Proactively address shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in-home damage claims to achieve timely resolutions.
- Efficiently dispatch trucks using GPS technology to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Oversee in-home delivery process, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive monthly operating reports, including key statistics and customer service scores.
- Supervise and provide guidance to Customer Service Representatives and Routers to enhance team performance.
- Uphold punctuality and regular attendance as essential job requirements.
- Fulfill supervisory responsibilities in compliance with company policies and applicable laws, including employee training, work assignment, and effective resolution of complaints.

Education & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills to address complex logistical challenges.
- Possess strong time management skills to efficiently prioritize and complete tasks.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly valued.
- Previous supervisory experience, including conducting performance reviews, is beneficial.
Physical Requirements:
This position entails clerical administrative duties in a professional office setting. The employee will frequently engage in sitting, standing, walking, manual dexterity tasks, stooping, bending, and reaching. Extensive use of a phone and a PC is required. Remote work may be required periodically.
